I hate to add on with the negative feedback, but I'm just really confused by the changes to in-painting. The previous in-painting tool worked great, allowing for precise selection of areas of the song we wanted to change at one time (up to 4 spots within the 30s context). This new Edit tool is significantly worse and less usable. The highlighted lyrics never match the part of the song that is selected. The changes seem to not get implemented in the new generation. And the worse part is that no changes were even necessary, in-painting worked great already! Why intentionally make it so much worse? Changing it back would be a great decision. The edit tool is in a pretty awful state since the "revamp" while i like the new UI for it, the tool is broken as there was an attempt to make it too clever which is always an invite for bugs when it comes to software design. There are 2 main issues i have at the moment. You cant edit an instrumental section of a song unless you highlight lyrics. There are no lyrics to highlight when the song did an unscripted guitar riff or something. I want to keep it, just wanna change it. Its not possible to do it without lyric selection. The Auto lyric selection just doesnt work. I have to make edits to the song and make new generations to intentionally break the lyric detection for the edit tool so i can actually edit the lyrics i want to edit. This is something you guys will never get 100% accurate so forcing this new clever solution and not allowing an override is stupid. Sure, i can highlight the lyrics i want to change, but this increases the selection of the track that needs to be modified, often changing more of the song than i had intended. Being an AI tool, theres always going to be the temptation to be "more clever" and try to predict what the user wants to do to save them time. This tool was a good attempt but having been a dev for 12 years now, there is such as thing as trying to be too clever with UI design and this tool is a perfect example of it. If you are gonna try to do it, at least allow us turn it off.

Everytime I try to use edit for changing text or section of song I get Error unable to generate track. I can only extend track. Is anybody experiencing this?

There is no timeline in the new Edit mode. With the new Edit mode, it has become more difficult to fix a sound problem in a track. For example, I want to change the interval where there is an unexpected squeak, click or other odd sound that is sometimes barely audible. It's hard to find this interval, for example from 1:14 to 1:16, in the editor. A possible solution is to restore the timeline.

CAN NOT PLAY MY SONGS WHAT IS WRONG?????

Knowing the time index on the edit feature is rather crucial when you're trying to edit a specific spot; during the recent update this time index has disappeared making it much harder to work with. Also can't seem to edit more than one section at once anymore? That's going to make it difficult to make some of the more complex edits where I need to keep a piece in the middle.

The new inpaint , now called EDIT, is better visually but has the same problem. Needs several attempts before the program effectively change the text, so you need to use various credit to change 1 phrase or word, anyway it's more easy to use, cause only need to select a section visually instead of asterisk.
