Weekly showcase for a Comp / Genre-Tag / Song Challenge idea The idea of this is to expand on the existing main site competitions showcase feature. And, in fact, just utilize the existing infrastructure for the competitions in a more expansive way. The general concept is that the site could still run the site-wide competitions occasionally but then (when they’re not on) that carousel can showcase a different genre-tag or song-challenge tag each. Using the existing tag system that the carousel works with. So one week it could be showcasing #GlitchHop and then next #BluesRock and then #ElectroSwing. Or it could be a showcase for an interesting challenge tag like: #MakeTheHappiestSongAlive, #MakeASongInSpanish, #CreateACompletelyUniqueGenreMashup, #MakeASongWithTheFastestBpmPossible The possibilities for these are pretty endless really. You could even have a separate genre showcase and challenge showcase going on at the same time, but part of me likes the community focus on one thing, and the diversity of it always switching it up? What’s really positive about this suggestion is that it focuses the community onto a common task. And this is how real innovation and discussion can spark. And I believe it would also really get people going outside of their regular comfort zone to try a new genre that they would typically steer clear of, maybe they learn some new Udio tricks in the process or get a new appreciation for different musical styles that they never have before. I think it would actually be a great way to get people learning and exploring different capabilities and potential within Udio. Not only that, this would cause constant change, and something constantly new on the site every week for people to use the Udio product for. This is exactly the sort of thing that is needed to keep spirits up and interest in Udio alive and well. And on top of all that, this would likely be able to bring decent marketing material and social engagement for Udio. You could potentially even reach out to existing dedicated communities of that weekly showcase, to see if any users there would be willing to engage with the challenge?

I filed copyright claims and they didn't contest it for my songs. This means we'd show either a "Subscriber" or "Pro" badge, for instance, denoting that that community member likely has a higher-than-average experience and familiarity with Udio. It might also indicate a bit of appreciation from us at Udio. Potential downside: Would require a little bit of engineering time (everything's a balance!). Sharing generations from Udio, which have been audio-engineered by us in post. Frequently, the best tracks have stems from multiple generations in multi-track, and for those of us who want to share those, I don't see a place.

Well since the "folder" update which has rendered Udio as usable as a chocolate toasting fork, I think it's time Udio took beta testers seriously, so that new future updates and future features are thoroughly tested and ironed out on multiple browsers and devices before being rolled out to the main platform userbase. I've asked for this many times via email since the start of Udio, and since this royal "folder" update botch-up in classic microsoft update botch-up style, I demand we have beta testing phases performed by the Udio volunteer community that can test future Udio versions, updates, bug fixes, feature implementations etc! Cos im not paying for a service i cannot access or use!

I would be happy to help with this, get the community driven with a weekend event with an idea from the community with like a poll of five ideas given, and ppl can post to a channel in discord and other areas with help and the community can pick like 10 for like a community event pick or something in that nature. I for one love listening to peoples music and i think community driven events can really network people together and build good a good and eventful community.
