Make it clear which song is playing
hax
just add a red border around the currently playing track. PLEASE. this is such an easy fix and huge quality of life improvement.

Yep. I have to go by the color of the auto-generated image much of the time.

Nothing changed here yet after 40 days, although this is so annoying and so easy to change! Too bad Udio! You don't really care about us!

Merged in a post:
Make the playing song FINALLY really visible
Gabriel Margarit
It has been told Udio many times already, that the playing song in the list is BARELY visible because that small animation is very hard to see and the only thing.
It is, at the most, a one hour job for any developer to highlight the active song somehow to make it easy to identify, as any app do (except for MS Excel, who hides also since the 90s the active cell in a sheet). Please have mercy with our EYES and TIME and do finally a fast CHANGE there, cause it is very annoying. And I still wonder how the Udio team, all the devs and testers and PMs could stay with this annoying camouflage thing so many months without seeing it or removing it so far. If there is a top ten for most annying things in Udio and Suno: this is Nr. 1. And also the fastest/easiest one to fix! (I am a dev myself). An AI could fix it in 10 seconds, so the UI developer only has to copy and paste the code generated. People, please vote this to the top for the sake of your eyes at least.

Agree with this completely. Even though they have added an outline to the playing track which is either being extended/remixed, it's still very easy to delete.
They did add an undo feature though. Any track you delete by mistake, you have access to for 30 days I believe. On the pc, it's under the deleted tab. I think that's the name, but yeah, we no longer lose them forever.

I personally use the mobile version and I have never seen this problem. Honestly, not even from PC.

I complained also about this long time ago... and others too... but nobody cares... The most annoying thing in Udio by far!
And so easy to change.
Dinaila
Gabriel Margarit I don't know how easy it is to change the interface of a site with everything that's inside, but there are actually much more important things to implement.

This is a 15-60 minutes job at the most, and of course some testing. I am myself a developer and an a PM. For testing there are separate testers who can test, so the developer can move to the other bug. There is no other bug annoying me daily so much as this! Daily! And I am not the only one. And they did not see it in 6 months!
But no matter how something annoys us, nothing is done here. They only keep implementing new features giving ZERO attention to bugs and other important features missing and thus also to us users. So most of this feedback here is simply in vain. Just look how many things are in progress (one!), and how much the evaluation or planning is taken (weeks and months)!
A normal programmer can fix ALL the bugs and add all these UI missing simply functions in maximum a week. Some of them even in 2-3 day. This is a fact. Is nothing complicated. But Udio invests here ZERO time.

Dinaila i agree on this one... i never deleted the wrong song, because i did not know, what was playing... i only deleted a song by accident once (but it was because i was doing stuff in haste)... on mobile, but never at my pc
