Value of Extra Credits

The value proposition of purchasing extra credits is really bad, especially as a pro sub. $25 for only 1000 credits which is less credits than a standard sub (1200 for $10), and $3 for 100 credits which wont even be enough to make a third of a song, or anything at all if it entails experimentation. Its almost like you dont want people to buy additional credits. Personally i rather wait for the month to tick over rather than buying any of these packs, which is a shame cause i would really like to continue using the site even though i spent all my pro sub sub credits.

I suppose at this point since absolutely nothing has been done, Udio has made it clear that they do not care about such a simple logical adjustment, and from that we can assume that this system most likely is designed this way in order to be predatory towards those who are too dumb to realize they can get a new sub on a separate account for a way better price, but at the detriment of user experience. Or in order to inflate the number of subs in the books, since a number of single users have multiple subs due to this price difference. Just another example of a modern day company slowly degrading their reputation and customer good-will in the name of short term profit. Gotta have them finances looking strong before they sell the company

If the credit cost does not match the sub credit value, the user is better off making a new sub on another account. Like if you only need credits for $9, instead of buying ~300 credits on your main acc for $9, on another account buy a sub for $10 and get 1200.
The problem with this method is that you end up splitting your tracks between multiple accounts, and it is a mess to have an overview of which account has the proper version of which tracks.
Just reduce the price of the extra credits to match the sub credit costs and this can be avoided and user experience improves... unless you are intentionally looking to have artificially inflated sub numbers that is.
