I def feel like Udio has gotten worse lately in a lot of areas, my prompts are very often ignored(im. on manual Mode by default) or just dont feel as unique in the output as udio was in the beginning. Overall also vocal sound fidelity has gotten worse as well. not to like suno levels but for sure its not as good in a lot of genres. Mobile UI is buggy as hell too.

Sounds like skill issue. If you like what other "perfectly working AIs" put out, good for you, you then have plenty to work with. For non-mainstream genres Udio is the only one that makes good enough outputs. Suno may be good for your average mainstream radio track, but fails miserably to generate more niche music (chiptune, dungeon synth, vaporwave, cyberpunk, goa trance,..). Having pop melodies and chord progressions in metal sound does not make it metal.

And the other AIs are even worse.

I prefer udio to others and while it takes a lot of experimentation and generation Ive been very happy with final products built over the course of extensions, crops, and edits. It also works surprisingly well if you make audio edits outside of the platform and then reintroduce it via upload.

Yes, agree, keep upgrading competitively - but there are like real people that are trying to build a thing that is so sick so give them a break
